Personal Integrity
What is personal integrity? If you look around the web you'll find many definitions.
My favorite definition (cause it's mine, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who
thought of it) is explained in this short essay.
Definition of Personal Integrity

Ok, here goes. The definition of personal integrity is when a person's thoughts,
equals their words, and both their thoughts and words equal their deeds. Simple
eh? Well maybe to say but not to do.
What's more important in life than being honest and keeping your word? Nothing!
Not money, not status, not control, not even relationships (cause they are built on
honesty and trust). Well, there it is, "my" definition of personal integrity. Maybe it's
useful. I hope so.
Cowboy Guru says, "Try it on fer size, see if it fits!"
Let's look closer at this.
Do your thoughts equal your words? Well, if not, then what you're saying is a lie.
Now you may choose your words to be more socially acceptable, but if the meaning
does not match what you are thinking then what you're saying is a lie. So here the
definition of a lie is saying something you do not personally think is true. Oops, no
personal integrity.
Next step. Do your words equal your deeds? Well, if not, then your deeds result in a
broken promise. So here the definition of a promise is doing what you say. Hmmm.
Seems pretty dang simple, right?
Personal Integrity is when: your THOUGHTS = your WORDS = your DEEDS

All ya gotta do to have personal integrity is say what ya think and do what ya say.

Having no personal integrity is like being a rocket with a faulty guidance system.
